CONTRAIL
FLIGHT BAG COLLECTION
As lead designer and creative director, I developed Contrail’s FL360S/P, FL390S/P/T, and FL410P/T series flight bags to meet the unique needs of pilots and flight attendants.
I introduced Mil-Spec MOLLE panels across the entire collection, bringing exterior modularity and customization to professional aviation gear for the first time.
Each bag was designed with premium durability and in-flight functionality in mind, allowing crews to organize, access, and secure equipment quickly during demanding schedules.
I created complementary accessories, including four interior removable "ORP" device pouches, an extra zipper pocket, a water bottle holder, and an ergonomic shoulder strap that expand the bags’ versatility.
While working 1-on-1 with Contrail's founder Ron Bloom (who is also a pilot), we developed a design process focused on maximizing efficiency in tight cockpits and cabin spaces while maintaining a sleek, professional aesthetic.
Every model in the series integrates rugged construction with smart storage layouts, balancing strength, weight, and usability.
The modular system empowers users to tailor their setup, whether flying short domestic routes or long-haul international missions.
This collection reflects my vision of blending military-grade performance with the practical, everyday needs of aviation professionals.

The Subpac X1 is a new hybrid design for dual use with a simple modular strapping system for both wearable and seated functionality.
Thermoform, cut & sew, molded, and pad printed construction methods.
Designed for long life, for easy disassembly at end of life, and no planned obsolescence.

The Avive Connect AED® is the smallest, lightest FDA approved Automated External Defibrillator available, designed with accessibility, portability, and durability in mind.
This semi-rigid case contains interior compartments specifically made to hold accompanying accessories like the Avive Rescue Kit, charging cables, and a spare pad cartridge or training pad cartridge.
